Maintenance Shafts

Aymroo PVC Maintenance Shafts can replace traditional manholes, where approved, for cheaper and easier sewer system installs. Aymroo has supplied over 50,000 to date, saving thousands of hours for installers and thousands of dollars for project managers.

Aymroo’s WSA-137 complying PVC-U Maintenance Shafts enable access to sewer networks of size DN100 up to DN300 as an alternative to traditional access chambers, connecting to sewer networks utilizing Solvent Cement Joint (SWJ) or optional Rubber Ring Joint (RRJ) connections and are suitable for installation depths up to 4.7m.

The Maintenance Shaft System is manufactured to the requirements of WSA-137 Industry Standard for Maintenance Shafts and Maintenance Chambers for Sewerage, plus it has been appraised by the Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA Product Appraisal Report 1608), complies with AS/NZS4999 (WMK 74935) and is recommended as an alternative to manholes by its members and associates. All major water boards have also approved the system for installation across Australia.
